Lausanne, Switzerland: World OCR, the Fédération Internationale de Sports d’Obstacles (FISO), announced today the launch of the 2020 OCR World Series V. The first race, World Cup #1 will be held through May 31st, with one World Cup race each month through October.

The six World Cup races are being hosted by World OCR global technical partner Sweatworks, on their Conquest EventsTM platform. Registration is free with results and rankings will be provided at national, continental and world level. Categories include elite, 5-year age groups for adults, 2-year age groups for youth and three for adaptive athletes.

“The OCR World Series V provides athletes with the opportunity to maintain fitness in a collaborative or competitive environment under today’s COVID-19 environment. We aim to give the amazing OCR community a way to connected and compare with other athletes around the world,” said FISO President, Mr. Ian Adamson. “The World Series provides athletes the opportunity to compete at the highest level or simply join their peers from their own back yard.”

In these unprecedented times, we wanted to make sure that we take care of the amazing OCR community that has made this sport great,” says Sweatworks founder and CEO, Mr. Mohammed Iqbal. “We are thrilled to be able to provide this service for participants from all over the World.
