The Athlete Advisory Council (AAC) is a standing committee of World OCR, made up of elite athletes, that provides opinion and advice on FISO policies that effect obstacle sports worldwide. The AAC may appoint athletes to FISO nominating committees, panels empowered to resolve grievances, and any committee that prepares, approves or implements programs regarding the selection of international championships, Olympic, and Continental Games team members.

WHO WE ARE
The Fédération Internationale de Sports d’Obstacles (“FISO”) is the world governing body and sole competent authority for obstacle sports and related disciplines. We are an independent association composed of national member federations worldwide.
WHAT WE DO
The FISO website (the “Website”) and mobile application may offer live and on-demand video content, pictures, stories, games, contests and other information about Obstacle Sports, including Ninja, OCR and Adventure Racing. We also make available our content on a variety of third-party platforms like Facebook, Twitter or YouTube. These platforms are governed by their own terms and conditions and privacy policies and we strongly recommend you read them.
WHAT SIGNING-UP ADDS TO YOUR EXPERIENCE
Our content is generally available on our website and our application without the need to register as a user but signing-up offers you a richer and more personalized experience. When you sign up we give you the possibility to customize the Website to focus on your favourite athletes, sports or teams and to receive FISO news directly in your inbox. Registration is open to our users who are 13 or above and users who are 13 to 15 years old should only sign-up with parental authorisation.
INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We will collect information about you in different situations, for instance when you sign-up on the Website when you contact us or request a service from us (e.g. our newsletters). We may also collect certain information when you visit our website and app (also as a non-registered user), through cookies, pixels and similar technologies as further explained in our cookie policy.
HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
We use the personal information we collect to deliver and promote FISO in accordance with our Terms of Service, to personalize your experience based on your interests, to communicate with you and to provide you with the services which you have requested.
INFORMATION WE SHARE WITH THIRD PARTIES
We will only provide your information to third parties in the following circumstances:
- we share certain user information with our affiliates and service providers who work with us to offer you related services;
- we may share your information with authorities or third parties when we believe that we have a legal obligation to do so and

This Privacy Policy, as updated from time to time, explains what information about you is collected and how it is processed when you use the Website mobile application (collectively the “Service”).
When you use the Service, information about you will be collected and processed in accordance with this Privacy Policy by FISO. When we refer to ‘’we’’, ‘’our’’ or “us”, we are referring to FISO and its sports of Ninja, OCR and Adventure Racing, acting as an independent data controller, and when we refer to “you” or “your” we refer to you as a user of the Service.

1. INFORMATION THAT YOU PROVIDE TO US
You may provide us with information, including personally identifiable information, when you, create a user account, communicate with us, complete certain transactions or subscribe to particular services.
a) Account data
If you create a user account, we will ask you to provide us with your first name, last name, email address, age information, login information, and password. This information will allow us to create and maintain your user account, identify you as one of our registered users and, if you decide so, to send you promotional communications about FISO. We may also invite you to provide us with additional information in particular by indicating your interests in particular athletes, teams, sports or events so that we can personalise your use of the Service.
b) Communications data
If you communicate with us and/or request any particular service from us, we will use your account information and other information you may provide us to answer your queries.
2. INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE US FROM THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
For your convenience or to activate certain features of the Service, we offer you the possibility to import certain data that you have provided to third party services such as social media service into your FISO account. Please read the terms and conditions and privacy information related to these services. We are not responsible for the continuity in the flow of information nor for the accurateness of the information coming from any third-party services.
You can register with us by using the information of an account you hold with a third party service. Currently, this option is offered for Facebook and Google accounts. If you choose this option, you will allow Facebook or Google to provide us with some personal information they hold about you so that we can use this information to create your FISO user account. This information will typically include your first name and last name, user name, unique identifiers and access tokens, e-mail address, date of birth and preferences (e.g. pages you have favourited or saved).
3. INFORMATION THAT IS COLLECTED AUTOMATICALLY WHEN YOU USE THE SERVICE
a) Device information
We collect information about the device(s) you use to access and use the Service, in particular, we collect Device attributes, including operating system, hardware and software versions, browser type, language Unique device identifier (UID) Network connections (information such as your ISP, language, time zone, IP address.
b) Cookies information:
Our websites use first-party and third-party cookies, pixels and similar technologies. We use this information to recognise users and allow their authentication, improve their experience and personalise the Service for them, measure the use of the Service, and to serve advertisements on and off the Service and to measure their success. 4. INFORMATION THAT YOU HAVE MADE PUBLICLY AVAILABLE
The Website may include publicly available information about athletes and other persons who are newsworthy and whose story contribute to the mission of FISO.

We use the information we collect about you and your use of the Service to:
- (a) facilitate your use of the Service, enable your registration and authentication, and manage your user account;
- (b) maintain and develop the Service;
- (c) gather statistics to help diagnose problems and enhance your experience of the Service;
- (d) ensure the security of the Service and that the Service is used in compliance with our Terms of Services and applicable laws;
- (e) offer you a personalized experience of the Service, for instance by suggesting to your content based on preferences you have indicated and previous choice of content, and deliver relevant advertising to you;
- (f) provide you with information and content that you have requested;
- (g) communicate with you, including by answering your requests, sending you communications related to your user account and our Terms of Service and, if you have opted-in to this service or qualify for it according to the law, send you marketing communications (including by email and other electronic channels) about the Service, our activities and the activities of FISO and its partners, while offering you the possibility to opt-out from such marketing communications at any time and
- (h) Show and measure advertisements, on the Service and, on third-party services like Google, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter. Uses contained in paragraphs (a) to (h) above reflect processing grounds necessary for the performance of our contractual relationship with you. Uses contained in paragraphs (g) and (h) reflect processing grounds necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the controllers or by certain third parties, except where such interests are overridden by the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject which require protection of personal data, in particular where the data subject is a child.

2. FISO and our affiliates
The Website is the result of the cooperation between FISO and it’s National Member Federations. We are also assisted by our affiliates who provide services to FISO and help us deliver the Service to you. We sometimes share your personal information among us and with our affiliates, where necessary for the purposes and legal basis for processing highlighted in this Privacy Policy.

We rely on a network of professional vendors and service providers who are working on our behalf and help us operate, develop, secure, promote and measure the Service and our advertisements. Services provided by these partners include:

- Analytics and measurement services
- Email communications and push notification services
- Third-party web and social media services, on which we may serve advertisement to you

We reserve the right to disclose personal information we hold about you if we are required to do so under applicable laws or pursuant to any judicial or administrative process, and to the extent necessary to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding unlawful activities, or violation of our Terms of Service, under the legal basis described in this Privacy Policy.
HOW WE PROTECT YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
1. Data security
We use technical and organisational measures in order to protect your personal information against the risks of damage, destruction, loss or unauthorised access, in accordance with applicable laws.
2. International transfer
While the information we collect will usually be processed in the European Union or in Switzerland, we may also transfer your information for the purposes allowed by this Privacy Policy to the above-mentioned recipients, some of which may be based in countries that, like the United States of America, do not provide in their laws for a level of protection of your privacy equivalent to the one applied within the European Union and Switzerland. This will happen when some the companies helping us operate FISO (see above “our service providers”) access your information from countries located outside Europe. Before transferring data from Switzerland or the European Union to the United States and other countries, we implement safeguard mechanisms recognized by Swiss and European regulators such as standard contract clauses or seek you express consent.
3. Age limitation
The Service is intended for users who are 13 years old (or older) and we will not knowingly collect personal information about users below that age. If you are aged 13 to 15 years old, you can only use the Service with the prior authorisation from a parent or guardian.
If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal information without parental or guardian consent, we will take steps to delete this information and close the child’s account. We mainly process your information to perform our obligations under our Terms of Service but in certain cases, we also rely on other justifications.

We rely on our legitimate interests, especially for our users who may not be of age to enter into a contract, to provide a secure and efficient service that is consistent with our Terms of Service where Obstacle Sports fans can enjoy high-quality obstacle sport related content corresponding to their interests. Legitimate interests constitute a basis for the following activities:
- Making available through the Service publicly available information related to the Ninja, OCR and Adventure Racing World Championships, international championships, multi-sport Games, athletes, sports and news stories
- Providing the Service and personalizing it based on your favourite sports, athletes and teams
- Sending you notifications about new content
- Sharing data with our partners who may offer you their services
- Managing registration and user account
- Securing and developing the Service
- Communicating with you in relation to the Service
- Transferring, storing or processing your data outside Switzerland or the European Union, including to within the United States and other countries
- Sending you marketing communications, including via emails, if you have opted-in or you qualify under the law to receive such communications
- Serving you advertisements for FISO, on the Service and on third-party services
- Sharing your information with third parties including law enforcement authorities where we suspect an unlawful activity
In these cases, you have the right to object to the processing of your information or ask us to restrict such processing.

We may also invoke our legal obligation as a valid ground for sharing your information with judiciary or law enforcement authorities if we are ever obliged to do so.
