SportAccord has announced the cancellation of the SportAccord World Sport & Business Summit 2020, which had been due to take place from 19-24 April in Lausanne, Switzerland.

The World OCR and the whole OCR community back this decision as the situation requires critical preparedness, readiness and response actions for COVID-19.

The cancellation might postpone the World OCR`s journey through the IOC pyramid. Our GAISF membership application may be delayed and we look forward to the SportAccord World Sport & Business Summit 2021 in Ekaterinburg, Russia, from 23-28 May.

We will continue working in close collaboration with member federations and athletes to strengthen governance and to facilitate safety, fairness and opportunities for our athletes.
