The Philippine Obstacle Sports Federation (POSF) launches the Obstacles-in-a-Box facility
The Philippine Obstacle Sports Federation (POSF) announces today the launch of the 12-in-1 Obstacles-in-a-Box facility. This is part of an initiative that will distribute within the next 3 months 10 to 15 of these compact obstacle sports facilities all over the country.
The aim is to promote obstacle sports and create spaces for competition and recreation using the Boxes. According to Alberto Agra, President of POSF, “Anyone, whether able-bodied, Para-Athletes, youth and kids, seniors and masters can use the Boxes.”
The Boxes are also intended for vulnerable and marginalized kids in the Philippines. Through obstacle sports, the youth are trained to be more resilient, to be productive of their time and to channel their energy and passion for sports, especially during this Coronavirus pandemic.
“All these are being undertaken by the Federation for its Obstacle-for-All-Everywhere program and Building Better Humans initiative,” the POSF President added.
